New Glam Shots

As Maizie grows, I realize that she will probably not let me dress her up and take a million pictures. So, I'm doing it now! We had fun with a basket and two boas!

I know this is bias but, I have the most beautiful baby on the planet. I love that she has a little attitude after I pose her for five minutes! Gorgeous!

Cheap Chicken Parmasan

The other day, Mark was craving Italian food for dinner and I didn't want to go to the store. So, I looked to see what I had to work with and created the quickest version I could of Chicken Parmasan. I call it:

Chicken Mozzarella

1 bag Chicken Nuggets

1 bag Mozzarella 

Spaghetti Noodles 

Spaghetti Sauce 

Cook the chicken nuggets as directed on the package. Five minutes before the chicken nuggets are done, sprinkle the mozzarella on top and return to oven. Cook noodles as directed, warm sauce. Layer noodles, nuggets, and top with the sauce. Wa-la!   

Cloth Wipes/ Are hippies rich? Yes.

Everyone that knows us, knows we are doing cloth diapers to save the Earth! I recently met a friend that is also using cloth diapers, and was talked into cloth wipes as well. I really didn't want to do the wipes because I wasn't sure what made them wet and I wanted a clean baby. After seeing her methods and talking it over with my husband, we have decided to convert to full cloth. Ask me how this is going in a month. 

Today, we invested in the oils at Whole Foods. I was shocked with the prices of everything in the store. Are hippies rich? Why do they stink so badly when soap is the cheapest thing in the store? The oils are expensive, and that is what hippies smell like. I don't get it. I'm not anti-hippie, just so you know. I have plenty of hippie friends, family and I used to work with a few so; no offense.

Maize and Willie love eachother

After Maizie was born, everyone was asking how Willie and Maizie are with eachother. I would tell them that he is doing great with her and then they would ask, "What does Willie do, now that you spend all your time with the baby?" and I would say, "He spends his time with her too!" I believe that these pictures illustrate exactly what I'm saying. There are a lot more just like this. I am so proud of how we trained him but, I never imagined he would be so protective...  

When we went to visit our Michigan family, Grammy was holding Maizie in the rocking chair and Willie sat by her feet not letting the other dog (Chewy) near his baby! It was really cute.

New Dress day!

Today is New Dress Day, so we are taking Glamor Shots! I got everything all set and then Maizie took a nap. Poo. Then she woke up and WALA...This was the best one.

Makings

Recently, I found a knitting recipe for hair curlers! They are the cutest little things ever! I made them for my friend for her birthday and already have had some requests for more. I know they look like tampons, but that was the best part, watching the people guess what they are!
